My old XP finally crapped out on me. It had been feeling a bit down on account of the unkillable trojan eating it from the inside. Eventually the whole thing ceased to function without major effort and the internet was permanently cut-off.
Anyway~ Went out and bought a new computer and it took me some time to set things back up again.
So, uh... I think that's all I have to say. at the moment.
Oh! Some new pictures to be scanned, though.

I may have rabies.
No joke here or anything.
Rabies.
Long story short, a bat appearedin our kitchen at 2:30 AM Sunday, and I got nicked (or however you spell it in this context).

Walked to the hospital immediately (I live a block away) and told them what was going on.
Here's the kicker- my doctor went right out with it, "Rabies is %100 fatal" he repeated this to me, just so it would sink in.

The bat got away, and Im not even sure if this little scratch was even from the bat, but, none-the-less I agreed to be better safe than sorry.

After they let me stew on the bed thing, they came in with a handful of serringes. I got... *thinks* One big shot in my left wrist (the place of the scratch) but since it was so big the doctor had to inject it several times, so that it wasnt too much at a time. Then a nice, easy shot in my right arm, and then 3 painful shots in my left shoulder. I have to go back in 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, and then finally 23 days from now and get the easy shot in my right shoulder, and then I will finally have all the shots.

As I was leaving the office,I asked the nurse if- after I got all the shots- I'd be completely free of rabies, and she responded in a way that didnt make me feel very well, "Wel....... there's a chance that you may still have rabies. there have been cases before that have gotten the treatment and still had rabies." Being the worrywart that I am, I cant sleep- hence this 5 AM sunda morning post.

According to the information on rabies the nurse gave me, IF I still have rabies after this is all over, I have from two weeks to two years before I die a horrible hydrophobic paralasys-related death.
